M5 CFX® plate extensions

For many applications, replacing the cube on the common adaptor place with a REACH CFX® plate extension will reduce weight and achieve optimal stiffness and accuracy in a stylus system. If there are no features in the X or Y direction, or a Z direction extension is needed, the top cube should be removed. Designers should use as few connections as possible, limit threaded connections, and avoid the adaptor plate cube when possible. It is also particularly important to achieve the best possible stiffness in the region near the plate where the forces levers of the stylus system are greatest. REACH CFX® plate extensions replace the standard interface between the adaptor plate cube and extension. This eliminates a connection point, reduces weight and ensures better performance of the system.
